And so, a little short of our third birthday here at Selador, it feels like we’ve finally made it. No longer pretenders to the throne, we are now like a proper, authentic, fully fledged record label as we reach the holy grail of our very first vinyl release. A momentous occasion for sure. You can speak to “our people” from now on 😉

Like all good ‘rights of passage/coming of age’ stories, it’s been some time in the making. As you can imagine, a milestone of this importance was not to be taken likely and so we decided to call upon one of our star players, Sir Robert Of Babicz to take the leading role.

The signing of these two original tracks, ‘Red’ & ‘Green’ was something of a coup as several other labels also fought for their attention but we like to think common sense prevailed as the big man bestowed upon us the honour of their custody. We were proud as the proverbial punch.

Robert is also aided and abetted here by two of Western Europe’s brightest electronic music lights, the 8 Bit boss, Gorge and the stylish French duo, Villanova who in turn add their own spice to proceedings. It’s a very special release all round. One to cherish.
