Remember when mix CDs were the currency du jour, and the coolest ones were stuffed to the proverbial gills with exclusive, upfront, otherwise unavailable tracks? We delighted in the sheer bloomin’ newness of what was on offer…we got to know the tracks inside out, every ebb, every flow…and when they got a full release, we eagerly snapped them up, and loved them even more. And consequently, the tracks had the shelf life they deserved.

And that, friends, is the inspiration behind this here mix. We’ve taken our popular Showcase format, where we…er…showcase a bunch of luscious new tracks, upped the number of tasty tunes on offer to a whopping 19…then had our very own P&P Music Factory, Anthony Pappa and Steve Parry, mix ‘em all together for your delight and delectation. “It’s been a very cool project putting this together with Anthony. We contacted so many friends and label artists about delivering tracks for it, and we received so many tracks for consideration, plus we had many new artists delivering goodies too, making their label debut. The project has been going on for a couple of months, constantly developing and changing. When we had all the tracks, we then had to see if they fitted together like a magical musical jigsaw, but as you’ll hopefully hear, I think this puzzle was solved nicely! It’s always a pleasure to work with Anthony, as we are both equally enthusiastic about music and mixing, so we feed off each other’s energy so much! We hope you like it as much as we do”.
